Group Growth: The 2 and the 10 (30 Fold)

Jesus entered on His public ministry when He was about thirty years of age. And I am not saying you have to wait until thirty to get on. That’s not what I am saying at all. In fact, the way the music industry works, they are taking them younger and younger as the time passes. I believe they are doing this to milk them until they are no longer worth anything. By the end of these kid’s (now older) career they (the labels) are on some, “You’re washed up and never make it in this town” talk.
Jesus’ ministry is generally reckoned to have extended to about three years (Again, not saying your music career will be that short).
Each of these years had peculiar features of its own. The first year may be called the year of obscurity, both because the records of it, which we possess, are very scanty, and because He seems during it to have been only slowly emerging into public notice. It was spent for the most part in Judea.

- Tasks: overcome sin (1 John 2:12)
- Spiritual Role: believer/follower
- Level of Ministry: you are being mentored
- Charisma: receive gifts
- Building: foundation laid
- Jesus: a child is born (Isaiah 9:6)
- School: Complete elementary school
- Calling: death

When a newly converted artist to the faith comes among a hip-hop ministry like a record label or something like that, after he or she has met the Father, he meets the other children in the Father’s house. That would be all the other newly converted artists (or at least the newest to come to the group, even if they have been with the ministry for 3 years).
