Apple is planning to open its new campus, named Apple Park, in April. While the campus, set in Cupertino, California, has been tracked extensively by drones during its development, Apple has provided its own imagery and videos of the new $5 billion campus. 12,000 employees at Apple will take around six months to move into the new 175-acre complex, which is shaped like a spaceship, while construction continues on buildings and parklands around the new campus.
Originally envisioned by Steve Jobs, Apple Park includes 2.8 million-square-foot of space, and features the world’s largest panels of curved glass. Apple is planning to name the new theater at Apple Park the Steve Jobs Theater to honor the co-founder of Apple who died in 2011 aged 56.
