The Breakdown of Proverbs 31 Part 1 By Shakura Reed
In this segment we will discuss how King Lemeul's mother taught him to look for a virtuous woman. The word virtuous means having or showing high moral standards. This is quality that many women in today’s time have lowered so that they can be accepted by society. In my opinion it has become normal. His mother broke down what virtuous means in the following verses.
Proverbs 31:10-15
Right after his mother asked him who can find a virtuous woman, she let him know that her value should he find one in worth more than rubies! You hear that rubies not diamonds, pearls, or silver! Why do ask because of her morals. Her love for YAWEH!
We as women in today’s must keep our God given virtues! Keep ourselves clean, admirable, just, and honest. Reason being is because if you walk in your virtue your ordained husband will be able to trust you with his heart (Proverbs 31:11). To the point to where he will not have need to be ruined, spoiled by another woman. Remember I said your God ordained, not the the man you entertain.
She will do good for and by him, work with her hands! Not her body her hands. Meaning she has a craft! What’s your craft?(Proverbs 31:12-13). She know how to go out and bring , prepare food that will benefit her household. Can you cook something besides noodles that has high sodium? Can you cater to his diet? Can you make sure that everyone in your household including those that help you are nourished not only naturally but spiritually ( Proverbs 31:14-15)?
These are just some of virtuous qualities that set us apart from worldly women. Trust me, when your God given mate he will see your virtue! He will ask YAWEH what did I do to deserve such a woman? Why does she love me? YAWEH will answer him through you!
I LOVE YOU TO LIFE!
