I am very excited about this particular message. And the reason why is because I get to finally share something that I have been dying to share for a hot minute! Not only that, I literally have no idea what I am going to teach in this message.
Usually these presentations are prepared in advance with at least an outline to keep me from coloring outside of the lines. I do that to stay on the subject because I am bad for going off the topic. So this trains me to stick with the program.
So today I will be operating purely in the prophetic and the Lord will give me what the say next! How about that? Let’s see what the Lord does!
As before let me add our old and new mission statements. Our old one says for this subject:
MEMBERSHIP – It is our vision of developing united relationships into fully committed partnerships where believers are committed to each other–the Body–just as much as we are committed to Christ–the Head of the Body. It is also our vision of restoring the house church (churches at home where people are at home: in ordinary houses) rather than the church building as a Way of living kingdom Life where, the people of God: sharing their lives in the power of the Holy Spirit, have “meatings,” that is, they eat when they meet; they often do not even hesitate to sell private property and share material and spiritual blessings, teach each other in real-life situations how to obey God’s word—dialogue–and not professor-style, pray and prophesy with each other, baptize, ‘lose their face’ and their ego by confessing their sins, regaining a new corporate identity by experiencing love, acceptance and forgiveness.
Now let’s show you our new one:
OUR MEMBERSHIP – It is our vision of developing fully committed covenant relationship where believers are committed to each other—the Body—just as much as we are committed to Christ—the Head of the Body; so that we build good, pleasant, and loyal unity together through fellowship that the anointing of the Spirit of God may fall upon the Jesus Christ—the Head, to appointed Leadership—the Beard, unto the rest of the Body—the Skirts, so that the Father command His blessings and eternal life upon Mt. Zion. – (King David, Psalms 133).
Fellowship/Church – This is the Church. You should be fellowshipping with the Body, whether they are in a building or in someone’s personal home. Just go out and find at least two or three people and build a team. (The opposite effect is Division)
Foundational Truth/Stone 4: I AM a MEMBER of God’s Family called the Church and Body of Christ. I love the church on four levels: My own home, my ministry team, the local churches, and the corporate Body (Acts 1:8).– ReAsOn DiSciPLe
